Mission Statement

Green Bay Community Theater is a nonprofit organization that engages with talented community members to provide quality theatrical productions that entertain and enrich our community.

GBCT will accomplish its mission by:

  • Producing four amateur theatrical productions of artistic merit each season.

  • Producing staged reader's theater shows to explore works of merit which might not be suitable for our stage and provide more accessible/lower-commitment involvement opportunities.

  • Encouraging all members of the Greater Green Bay community to participate in our productions at their level of comfort.

  • Creating a culture of inclusivity to support a diverse community of theater lovers for generations to come.

  • Being of service to the community by sharing our resources.

  • Maintaining and improving the landmark Robert Lee Brault Playhouse.

  • Fundraising in the interest of supporting our mission and growing our impact in the community.

"One of my favorite things about being at the theater is entertaining people and giving them a safe, great night out. It involves the whole community. People go out to eat, they come here, they see us... They laugh and learn, and we laugh and learn with them."
