About
Five friends travel to a cabin in the woods looking to have a fun getaway from the bustle of daily lives and relax. Everything is perfect – a beautiful lake nearby, picturesque views... and a large wooden chest with chains and a padlock on it in the middle of the living room with the inscription "Death is Certain, Life is Not." What more could you ask for? Soon a torrential storm hits, leading a sixth person to enter the cabin for shelter. Do you attempt to leave? Do you open the chest? And when you’re asked to feed the chest, would you?
Find out what happens and who survives the vacation in this thrilling new horror by local playwright Martin W. Prevost, presented publicly for the first time in this staged reading.
