We call it the Jewel Box...
The Robert Lee Brault Playhouse has had many nicknames. This century-old church, located in Green Bay's historic Broadway district, features an acoustically perfect theater with 193 seats. That means you're always close to the action on our stage.
It's been called The Old Church, The Old Castle, GBCT, and Community Theater. We call it The Jewel Box. We also call it home and love having you visit.
GBCT was founded in 1936 and we moved into this beautiful space in 1967. It's been our pleasure in all those decades to serve the community we live in. We have produced nearly 400 shows that, hopefully, have delighted and entertained you.
Whether you’ve been a season ticket holder for years or want to start a new tradition with friends, we welcome you to the Jewel Box!
