VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Ushering
/ Mailings
Usher
for one play or for all four. No special talent required
and just a couple of minutes instruction is all you'll need.
There are only 15 rows in the auditorium, so seating people
is easy. And you get to watch the show for free!
At intermissions, we ask your help with concessions.
Help
with mailings. It's done several times a year and
takes about an hour to label our newsletter.
Call,
(920) 435-6300, if interested in helping.

Properties / Lighting
Finding
the right properties (candlesticks, clock or magazine rack)
that are needed for the stage setting can be fun.
Whether it's helping our technical director in the hunt
or on nights of a play to help set the stage, you'll learn
something, get a chance to be creative and enjoy yourself.
Lighting
and sound crews work in the booth at the back of the auditorium
above the audience during each performance. In the
weeks preceding opening night, they may be hanging light
fixtures or taping a piece of mood music. If you have
technical experience, or would like to learn, this is a
great opportunity for you.

Costumes
/ Make-up
Costumes,
whether selected from actors' own wardrobe, chosen from
the racks of Salvation Army Store or custom-sewn, lend flavor
to any play. Since most of the plays GBCT does are
contemporary, this takes the talent of a coordinator, more
than a seamstress. We're always looking for help,
sometimes as a dresser backstage.
